Welcome to Build Play Studio! We provide play and babysitting sessions and party services. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking or using our services.
1. General Overview
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, services, and activities provided by Build Play Studio, including play sessions, party packages, and babysitting sessions. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with your booking or use our services.
2. Bookings and Payment
All bookings must be made in advance through our website, by phone, or via email. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking. Full payment for party services or babysitting services is required at least 6 weeks prior to the event. If payment is not received on time, your booking may be cancelled. For last-minute bookings (within 6 weeks of the event), full payment is required at the time of booking. All payments can be made via bank transfer.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the event will result in a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the event will not be eligible for a refund, except in exceptional circumstances — however we will work with you to find an alternative date. If Build Play Studio needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided, or an alternative date can be arranged at no extra cost.
4. Party and Play Session Guidelines
Build Play Studio provides play sessions, babysitting sessions and parties for children aged 1–8 years. Parties and sessions are designed for a maximum of 25 children. Additional children will be charged at a rate of £8 per child. Adult supervision is required at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour and safety of the children attending. Any damage to Build Play Studio's equipment caused by negligent or improper use will be charged to the client.
6. Health and Safety
Safety is of paramount importance at Build Play Studio. All equipment is regularly checked and maintained. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure children understand and follow the safety rules provided by our staff. Build Play Studio will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from improper use of equipment, failure to follow instructions, or lack of supervision.
7. Liability
Build Play Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or injury that occurs during a party or play session. Build Play Studio's total liability for any direct damage or loss resulting from the use of our services or equipment will be limited to the total value of the booking.
8. Weather Policy
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for arranging suitable shelter in case of bad weather. Build Play Studio will not be held responsible for weather-related disruptions or cancellations. If severe weather prevents the event from taking place, Build Play Studio will work with the client to reschedule or offer an alternative arrangement, subject to availability.
9. Photography and Media
From time to time, Build Play Studio may take photos or videos during events for promotional purposes. By booking a party or session, you consent to the use of such images on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish for photos or videos of your event to be used, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
10. Force Majeure
Build Play Studio shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Amendments
Build Play Studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of publication.
